587Ah Cell Mass Production Means for Battery Module and PACK Buyers

On October 10, 2026, Penghui Energy held a mass-production rollout ceremony for its Fengpeng 587Ah energy-storage cell at its Quzhou zero-carbon factory. The event was reported on October 12 by SMM, citing Penghui Energy, and by People’s Finance through Eastmoney. The reports describe the product as entering large-scale production and delivery, with the Quzhou site integrating cell, EMBALAR, and system manufacturing processes.

Para compradores, the important question is not simply whether a 587Ah cell exists in production. The practical question is whether that cell can be safely and economically adapted into the buyer’s target module, rack, EMBALAR, or light energy-storage subsystem.

A large-format prismatic LFP cell changes several design assumptions. Fewer cells may be needed for a given energy target, which can simplify some interconnection work.
