Diesen Monat, LYTH reached a major engineering milestone by successfully completing and shipping 100 units of customized 1P12S 58Ah NMC battery modules to a leading automation integrator in Truthahn. This project marks a transition for LYTH from a premier cell distributor to a high-end modular solution provider.

The Turkish client required a module that was not only compact enough to fit into existing industrial chassis but also rugged enough to withstand the vibrations of a factory floor. LYTH’s engineering team designed a bespoke 1P12S architecture utilizing 58Ah NMC cells.

To ensure maximum structural integrity, we employed fully automated laser welding technology. Unlike traditional mechanical bolting, laser welding creates a molecular bond between the cell terminals and the busbars, drastically reducing contact resistance and eliminating the risk of loosening due to mechanical stress. Furthermore, each module was equipped with a custom-designed FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) for high-accuracy voltage and temperature sampling, allowing for “Plug-and-Play” integration with the client’s BMS.

Shipping 100 fully assembled modules requires more than just good engineering—it requires logistical expertise. Before departure, every module underwent a 100% Depth of Discharge (DoD) cycle test and a high-voltage insulation check. To comply with international safety standards, the shipment was secured in UN38.3-certified reinforced crates, ensuring they arrive at the client’s facility in Turkey in pristine condition.

Our Turkish partners needed a turnkey solution that bypassed the complexities of local assembly,” noted the COO of LYTH. “By providing fully tested, laser-welded modules, we help our clients move from the prototype stage to full-scale operation in record time.
