LYTH Visits Namey Energy — Exploring Sodium-ion Battery Cooperation

Recently, a delegation from Luoyang Tianhuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (LYTH Energy) visited Namey Energy for a technical exchange and on-site inspection. Through in-depth discussions and guided tours, the LYTH team gained a clear understanding of Namei’s sodium-ion battery supply capabilities and quality management system.

According to Namey, sodium-ion batteries stand out with their long cycle life, high safety, and low raw material cost, making them a strong candidate for both EV and energy storage applications. Although their current cost is slightly higher than LiFePO₄ batteries, increasing production capacity and process optimization are expected to bring the cost below LFP in the near future. With upgraded cathode materials, sodium-ion technology also promises higher energy density for next-generation storage systems.

During the visit, the LYTH team toured the production line and observed key manufacturing processes including electrode material preparation, slurry mixing, cathode rolling, slitting, winding, baking, cell assembly, and electrolyte filling. The team was impressed by Namey’s meticulous process control and robust quality management.

Looking ahead, LYTH Energy and Namey Energy plan to expand strategic cooperation to jointly deliver high-quality sodium-ion and LTO battery solutions for global customers, advancing innovation and sustainability in the clean energy industry.
