In 2020,CALB launched a new 3.2v 100ah lithium iron phosphate battery cell. What is the difference between the new model and the old one? Today we will compare from various aspects.
From the picture we can see that the new model is blue aluminum case and the old model is gray plastic case. The size of the new model looks much smaller and lighter than the old one, but their voltage and capacity are the same, which means the capacity density of the new battery is greater than the old one.
The old model we usually call CA100, the battery terminal is bolted. You can connect them with screws and busbars. And the new model we call L160F100, mainly used in electric vehicles in China. The terminal is flat, you can weld or add screw on the top.And there is a model L160F100B, has a adaptor with a screw hole on the terminal, you can see the comparison pictures.
The process of the new model is better than the old one, the cycle life has been greatly improved, from more than 2000 times to more than 3500 times.
According to the specification of both battery models, the charge and discharge temperature range of the new battery is also larger than before
The above is the difference between the old and new calb 100ah battery, in order to facilitate comparison, I have listed these into a table with pictures, I hope this will help. If you still have any questions in this area, please feel free to contact us for communication.
