In terms of space, the MEB platform reduces the complex systems such as the front engine and transmission powertrain required for traditional fuel models, and puts the battery flat underneath the car and integrated into the chassis architecture, which gives the MEB platform models advantages such as a larger wheelbase and shorter front and rear overhangs, and more space in the back.
